I decided to head downstairs and watch the Adult Swim dubbed FMA tonight for the first time just to see the dub. Honestly, alot of the dialog is directly translated. I'd seen the first ep dubbed, but everything else i've seen was fansubbed. It just so happened to be the episode where our beloved Maes Hughes bites the big one... I again cried like a baby because Elysia's dialogue at the end was almost verbaitum........sniffle...

sniffle...poor Maes......


Is it very sad that I sat there almost the entire episode analyzing the jacket pattern and figuring out how to mod a regular jacket pattern.......... i'm sad and pathetic, no?

That is why I don't have a problem with the FMA dub as opposed to others.

But yes, I cried too. I cry every freakin' time.
