Karaoke Idol 2005

gimmick_gameWell, today's the day. I'm slightly nervous, mainly because I'm in a whole lot of pain right now from my back, but muscle relaxers and darvocet help immensely. I'm currently sitting with the bleach in my hair so I can do my pink streaks. My mom will prolly shit a brick when she see's the pink hair again, but at least I'm not doing my whole head (like i want to) and it washes out pretty quick.
I think I've decided my song for tonight as well. I'm in a toss up between Pat Benatar's Heartbreaker or Evanescense's Everybody's Fool. If I can't get the last note of Heartbreaker from sounding so damn brivado-y then I will do that one, if not it's Everybody's Fool. I really want to do Heartbreaker though, cus it does showcase my voice well, and it's up-tempo, and easy to get into. A ballad will really showcase my voice, but I don't want to start out with one. My experience in CHS Idol and American Idol have proven that point to me. Always good to get the audience jumping first, then slow it down, once you are established with the crowd. Plus, with my allergies acting up, the range for Heartbreaker is perfect, considering I'm having trouble going low, like most rock-vocalist women are.
If anyone want's to come, I'd be so happy. Just look for the girl with the hot pink streaks in her hair and a Lenore t-shirt on. Heehee.

EDIT- No pink, just two big blonde streaks in the front of my hair. Don't have time to do the pink, forgot I had to drop my grandma off at bingo in about a half-hour then my mom will be home.
