Weekend Update with Gemma

Well I know it's a little late, but oh well. This weekend was pretty darn cool. My mom left thrusday to go to my grandma's for the weekend, so I had the place to myself. Friday I went with my boyfriend and his grandma to this really good chinese buffet down the street from us. Saturday was the Pokemon state championships. Considering I've only been playing for a while and the fact that I'd gotten my deck from my friend THAT MORNING, 0-3 isn't too bad. BJ went 1-2, but that's only because the match he won was against me. It was fun though, I just need to tweak my deck a bit more. I pulled a rare from the promo cards they gave us, and my first EX from a pack I bought. I was happy. Sunday I got to chill and do laundry, plus go back to the nifty chinese place *does happy dance*. Overall it was a good weekend.


Plus, yesterday... I got all I need to make my Asuka dress!!!! *grins* I'm so happy. I just need a wig and clay for the plug clips and I'm set. Ordered the shoes off of a goth site (they were really cheap) got good fabric that was 30% off and found some ribbon for the choker and all kinds of nifty things. *squee* I'm happy. Going to get the sewing machine from my aunt tonight and start cutting. It's going to be awesome!! :D

yellow sundress. I was going to have BJ dress as Toji and walk around with my hand print in red paint on his hand all day, but I'd have to make his cosutme too, and I really don't have the time, plus he'd just complain the whole day, so I'll just leave him in the game room at Jacon! :D
