gimmick_gameOkey so this like insanely long entry I just wrote got deleted because somehow my computer thought it was July and when I fixed it LJ went ape shit and was all like "not backdated, you lose"....gah.......
Anywho.... Life Update V. 2.0
I will be going in to have all 4 of my seriously impacted wisdom teeth removed tomorrow, so ya might not hear from me for a few days. On a happier note, I now have all of the episodes of FMA. MK if you need 46-51, just let me know and I will get them to you, because I realised after watching 45 that those discs didn't have the last 6 eps on them.
FMA has usurped Eva on my all time fav list...:-D
Bellatrix LeStrange- Pulled out the dress I'm altering today and pinned it a bit. Very happy about this one, not sure if I'm going to wig it or not, possibly just put a dark rinse in my hair for it. going to check her description again in the books and see.
Asuka/yellow dress- This thing is giving me more trouble than I thought possible. I can make a fricken prom dress but not this??? GAH!!!! The skirt just doesn't seem right. I've seen some pretty bad versions of this dress (best one so far that I have seen was in the Animusical, and that was near perfect, far beyond the rest) and I don't want mine to be like some I've seen. I think I might put this one on the back burner and go for a more casual, original Asuka design until A. I loose more weight and B. I have more time to fiddle with it.
Mr. and Miss Brightside- Got the pattern for the vest last week (*hugs Lyn*) and I think i'm just going to make the dress from scratch since I can't seem to find a patern that I feel like altering enough to use. i have some ideas mulling about in my head and even with moving this month and Las Vegas trip next, I should have it done for the FF Ball. It's a damn good thing BJ already has a tux or I'd be screwed. Anyone got a big white curly wig they would like to sell cheap??? :D
Edward Elric- If the above turns out quicker than expected, I MIGHT have Ed done for metro. If not, definitely by AFO. I had thought about purchasing it through ebay, but perfectionist me, I want to make it, so the measurements are right and junk. I just got my watch off of ebay this past week, and I'm going to go thrift store hunting for the pants. Shouldn't be an issue really, just time consuming. I'm also going to look into contacts for it, but those definitely wont be until afo because of money. Should be fun, my first cross!!! XD
I think I'm going to wrap this up and watch the rest of FMA now.... God Ed is teh hawtness....*sigh*
