My Week In Review:
Oct. 8th, 2005 09:51 pmOkay, so for review here is all the crap that happened to me this week:
1. Sunday- Got a massive headache around mid-day. Felt like I had a fever, so I took a 30 minute nap befor my cousin's gig. (Which was awesome). Got home and started feeling pretty damn bad. BJ came home and Bekah brought me a thermometer. Only 100.8, which is still high for me. Went on to have the worst night ever and several ideas to go to the ER, then felt better.
2. Monday- Woke up late, BJ missed a class but didn't worry about it. Bout 30 minutes after he left for school, I started shivering uncontrolably, to the point where it was quite painful. After an hour, I finally got up and threw up and the shivers stoped. Called BJ several times trying to get him to come home. Finally he came home and we took my temperature again (we had lost the thermometer). 104.5. We went straight to the ER at University Community Hospital where I sat in delerium for an hour and a half waiting to see a triage nurse. The first suspected that I had menegitis, so they airborne precautioned me and I was in a ER room in no time. They did a bunch of blood and such tests, pumped me full of fluids and did a CT scan of my brain. Since that showed no inflamation or tumor, they decided to go ahead with the spinal tap. Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...... That is all I have to say, ow. Prooved I didn't have menengitis, so the diagnosed me with a very severe flu. They sent me home and I slept through the night due to morphine and versed.
3. Tuesday-Thursday- Pretty much all the same. No eating, puking, tummy and back pain, and insane fever.
4. Friday- Felt a ton better, still a bit dizzy when getting up, but managed to head over to Holly and hang out with BJ and Adam for a bit watching them die at Halo 2.
5. Today- Started out great. Woke up fairly early, but not tired. Played FF9 with BJ for a few hours, then got ready to head back to Clearwater to get some things done at my mom's place. Found a nail in the wall of my tire, but it wasn't flat, so I decided to drive it to Clearwater to get it repaired. Took it to Tire's Plus. Went to lunch with mom and came back to find that the tire couldn't be fixed. I had the option of replacing that tire, or getting 4 new tires. Considering the inner lining was showing through on one, and that they were almost all legaglly bald and not having any traction left, I dropped 400 bucks on 4 new tires. Luckily I got cut a good deal and was able to get wider, taller and better tires for my truck. They are still car tires, but taller and fit the truck better. My truck rides higher now, so it's a little weird, but much better. Didn't even make it to my mom's house because I didn't leave Tire's Plus until 5pm.
6. 6 is currently curlled up on the couch with her fever back wishing her sweetheart were here with her instead of in Clearwater cus he has to work tomorrow...*bawls like a sick baby*
I guess that's all for now. I have a lot of studying to catch up on tomorrow, I'm not looking forward to it. Also my apartment is a mess because of me being out of commission for a week, so if I want to eat tomorrow I have to clean my whole kitchen and clean like almost every dish I own, and then I have to clean up my wreck of a living room....
So, how is everyone else doing?
