Just a warning to anyone who lives in the Clearwater/Largo Area and is planning on moving into a new apartment anytime soon.... DON'T GO TO CHAPPARALLE IN LARGO!

The management is a bunch of dicks and proceeded to evict my neighbors on the hottest day of the year so far when they have 2 kids and nowhere to go right now. I've been ouside helping them load and offering the services of my truck all day.

The management was also in such a hurry to change the locks that it is possible that their cat got locked in there....

Luckily the matienance people are helpful and friendly and will hopefully let them back in to get the last few things that they had in there.

Word of advice in florida- If you are evicted, they can come the same day as they serve the eviction notice while you are at work and lock all of your stuff in the apartment and change the locks, and it becomes their property.

And do you know what the sad part is... they never even missed a rent payment or anything, it's just the former manager being a vindictive b and they happened to loose their last court case after winning all of the others...


This is so sad and I can't wait to get out of this hell hole....

Unfortunately, it's not illegal in the state of Florida. Usually the apartment complex will confiscate posessions and auction them off (large items and stuff) to help cover a bad debt. But in this case, they don't owe the place anything, the management is just being a bunch of dicks. The manager we had when we first moved in was very helpful and nice, and was working on getting things fixed and updated. Then a new management company came in and screwed everything up. Now they are trying to "beautify" the place again (drive down Rosery Rd and look for the poop brown apartment complex, yea that's their beautify-ing...) But they are not worried about the actual residents. In fact, they just took out all of our 6ft fences around our back patio's and replaced them with 4 ft fences...without gates... Total fire hazard... I'm sorry, I'm only 5ft tall, you expect me to jump over that if there is a fire??? I don't think so... Grrr.......
