gimmick_gameI am so exhausted right now...
Got up early this morning and drove to my Grandy's. Took the park way, so it was nice and leisurely. Got up there and she had an entire set of pots and pans for me, as well as a ton of my great-grandma's handmade afgans which are super soft...and a bunch of other stuff, including a coffee machine.
Went to her Super Wal-Mart And here's the list of my great finds:
1. Bed-in-a-bag complete Queen set, really pretty blue and white kinda tropical flowers- $30
2. Hot water dispenser thingy for tea, oatmeal and ramen, (cus I'm a tard when it comes to microwaving water for some reason) $13
3. Black leather Danskin Jazz shoes (possibly for Karate as well) $14
4. Silicon Bakeware set(muffin, bundt, trivets, wisk, and a spatual) $10 (Grandy bought me that)
I'm uber happy with my wally world finds. Plus, their fabric section made me feel like I had died and gone to heaven. An entire WALL of $1 fabric...
But I knew mom would kill me if I came home with a bolt of fabric or two...heeheehee.. Plus I don't have a sewing machine right now anyway, so I have to hand make everything right now, which is fine since it's only Meg and that is actually better...
My aunt gave me a bunch of mugs and stuff, plus some of Granny-Gee's old sewing stuff from when she owned a dress shop in Largo- which included some pretty ribbon, other misc sewing items, a skirt/pants hemmer that is super nifty (i'll take pictures later) And her PINKING SHEARS!!!!! These shears are at LEAST 50 years old if not older and in perfect almost new condition and still sharp as hell. I'm estatic! ^______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________^
