gimmick_gameFor those with an aversion to swear words, please do not look under the cut. For those of you who don't care about that and want to know why I am so mad...
Yet again the dumb bitch in the apartment building in front of mine has decided it would be a good idea to let her pit bull run free while others are walking their dogs. Before, it was the older dog, who I will admit had no malice in his intentions, and just wanted to be petted, but his over-exuberance caused Ozzy to think that he had malintent towards me and go defensive. This time, it was the puppy, who I have seen the younger boy who lives there kick on several occasions. It is now apparent that that has left a lasting impression on this puppy who is now very mean.
I was out walking Ozzy before bed, the two girls walking the 2 pits. If the younger one had kept ahold of the puppy all would have been fine, possibly a few barks exchanged, but past that nothing. Instead, the same dumb girl as before who let the older dog run free drops the leash of the puppy. The puppy immediately spots Ozzy and comes running at me barking, growling and bearing his teeth. I brace myself for holding Ozzy back, hoping that the girl will grab the puppy in time. Of course, she stands there doing nothing even as I am telling her to grab her dog. Both dogs are ready to tear each other apart, Ozzy trying to protect me, even though I am throwing him behind me. Finally the dumb bitch runs up and grabs the puppy's leash and pulls him off. I inform her again in a not so nice way that there is a leash law in this county and that if something like this happens again, I WILL call the police and animal control.
I have nothing against the pit bull breed, infact, my neighbors have one who is quit possibly the smartest and well behaved dog I have ever met. They can let her without a leash, but the minute you tell her to come back, she does. She listens so well. These dogs don't listen worth shit and have both possibly been trained as fighters. And that pisses me off to no end. Those dogs could have become sweet loving pets, but instead through repeated beatings and kickings have become mean and nasty. Ozzy is part pit, and the only time I have EVER seen him get nasty is to protect me. And he was abused by his previous owner!
People like them make me sick and I can't wait to get out of this fucking hell hole.....
Oh well, time to go to sleep, I have to get up at the ass crack of dawn tomorrow....
