1st post from my new apartment!

gimmick_gameYAY!!!! I'm moved in!!!! Well, some of my stuff at least. A good majority of my clothes and other junk is still at my mom's, but I've got a couple weeks to get it done. I'm so tired.
My apartment is awesome in the fact that it's huge and cheep, but it has some serious issues right now...here's the list:
1. Water damage to the front door from the lack of a drain guide on the gutter, causing my front door to stick horribly and not be able to close from the inside.
2. Patio door's lock is broken. Luckily I'm on the second floor, but my dad cut me a stop anyway just to be safe.
3. Light in my closet is broken...but when you see my closet, you don't care, it's absolutely huge!!!!
4. Bottom element on my water heater is busted (my dad checked it for me yesterday while installing my filter), meaning I only have 15 gals of hot water at a time, plus they turned it up to 150 degrees to compensate, causing me to nearly scald myself ever time I use the hot water. This will also effect my power bill, so I want it done now...
5. Carpet sucks, stains all over, but other than that it's clean.
6. Six is currently hidding in the vast recesses of my walk in closet.
7. Had to fix the blinds in my room. They broke the bracket trying to put them up so they just left them on the counter, so I went and got new brackets last night and put them up.
8. Stove and dishwasher are ancient. Stove works, not sure about the dishwasher yet...
9. A/C was low/non existant on freon all yesterday.
10. Guy came to charge it last night and realised that the fan on the roof is burned out and has to be replaced today. So while I COULD use my A/C right now, it would possibly burn out the entire unit on the roof meaning another week before I had air.... so hopefully that will be fixed today, but until then I'm sweating my ass off...
I'm really happy to be over here, only 5 min away from school now. It makes life a lot easier and I get to spend more time with B. Sept he has a nasty cold right now... I just got back from getting him medicine. Hopefully he'll feel better soon, he's such a grump and a grouch when he's sick! LOL.
