Fever go bye bye!!!!

Well my fever broke last night, so I'm feeling much better today. I was able to go to Japanese this morning, even though I didn't wake up until 8:30, which sucked cus I didn't get a chance to eat or anything before class and I had to rush a bit. It's a damn good thing I live right across the street from USF.

For anyone who cares, I got a 40/40 on my first Hiragana Quiz, and I'm almost sure I aced my Numbers Quiz this morning. I have to make up 2 quizes on monday, but they are greetings and 30 Hiragana, so I feel that I will do fine.

Chilling at home before Karate today, dopped up on a lot of DayQuil, Karate is going to kick my ass today, but hopefully Holden-sensei will be nice and not make me do a whole lot.

Going to hit Joann's after Karate and price some sewing machines. I'm getting that urge to sew again...... I especially want to fix my Asuka dress and size it better.

Also, since my other plans fell through, I am trying to think of a good halloween costume, anyone have any ideas? Pwease????

Hmm costumes....
I was going to dress my son up and a Teenage Mutant Ninja turtle hehe cause thats what he wants to be and then I was gonna make my hubby dress like Casey Jones and then me like April haha, dorky family :p.
But thats just for trick or treating, I'm still not too sure what i'm gonna do for any parties etc I may go to.

well, I was going to be making a Meg Giry costume from the PotO movie, but the group fell through, other than that I have no idear.... I'll think of something, hopefully! LOL

Go to the walmart by 275 and Dale Mabry, they had tons of black material there. The frogs were only $1.50 too. You should find enough to make your robes I'm sure of it.

Tomorrow, ironically, I'm making my HP robes. Rather get them out of the way asap.

Yea, tomorrow I am done with class at like 9 am so after that if I can't get the machine tonight (i'm getting my desk at Big Lots too) then I will get it after class tomorrow. What weight would you recommend and what for the lining? And are we doing Azkaban robes or not? Cus I have no problem making them, it just means I'd need a diff tie. BTW< I still have your tie if you need it.

Make sure whatever black material you have, has a heavy drape. Remember these were school robes, so they weren't thin and flimsy. My robes will be azkaban versions, namely so I don't have to have super short hair, however, I won't be wearing Harry to the halloween party. So for you (since you have my tie, which isn't azkaba), I'd say make Chamber versions instead, then you don't have to like the robes either.

I got the fabric tonight at the Wal-Mart from HELL, but it was only a 1.00 a yard, and it's pretty heavy. I also found lining, the maroon for Azkaban, so I will have to find a tie, but I'm pretty sure Hot Topic has the ties. Now to find a patch....
