Costume Update and AWA update

gimmick_gameOkay, decided today that I will NOT be attending AWA. This is sad, I know, but really better off, because it will save me money and allow me to make a few more costumes that I'm now DYING to make with my new sewing machine. Anime South looks to still be good, so yay!
On the costume front, I have had inspiration AGAIN to make Full Metal Panic! costumes...these include-
Kaname Chidori summer uniform- for me
Sousuke Sagara summer uniform- for B
Melissa Mao fatigues- for me
Kurz Weber- for B
B promised me he would be my Sousuke if I made a Kaname costume (plus Luci Christian threatened him with a halisen if he didn't lol) so he might do Kurz with me as well. The fatigue pants will be the same for both, so i'll only need one pattern for that, and I can use my Edward wig brushed out!!!!!
YAY!!!
As for my halloween plans, I have decided on Ron Weasley for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party, since pants are better than skirts, any day, and I won't need a wig, since I currently have "Ron Hair". LOL
I love my new sewing machine. It's quiet, it's smooth, and it has the best stitches EVAH!!!! OMG!!! It makes me so happy! *squeals for joy*
On a bad note, it does appear that I have fractured a bone in my thumb, right below the bottom joint, since it still is not feeling well and it hurts lower than it would had I only dislocated it. I'm going to go to student health services either sunday or monday and try to get x-rays taken. I'd really perfer it to not be broken, which would mean a short arm cast up to my thumb, and therefore limited sewing abilitiy (at least cutting wise) but I'm afraid it is. I'm going to get all of my fabric cut on sunday morning just incase, so I can just be running it through the machine.
I guess that's all for now, mom's going to be here very early tomorrow so I should prolly sleep some....
PS- I miss my honey bunny, he went back to Clearwater for the night....sniffles..
