Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Sep. 12th, 2005 08:32 pmOkay, so finally gave up and went to the hospital today to get my hand x-rayed when I couldn't write anymore. After waiting for 4 hours, the results are in. I do not have a broken thumb. I DO have a sprained ligament in my thumb, which is actually worse and requires me going to a specialist. So yea, Crap! BUT on a good note they gave me a splint and told me to ice it, and I qualified for Medicade, so the visit only cost me $200, rather than like $1000, and it will hopefully cover my specialist visits and possible surgery as well. ALSO, while there, I got offered a job working in billing. GO ME! I have to take my application back tomorrow, but yay!!!!! That would so rock!
As for this past weekend, here's a small update:
Went to Universal on Saturday with mom. Just as I was thinking "Hmm, I wonder if I will see Troy" poof, there's the Troy. So I talked to Troy, rode all of the fun rides (that don't involving plunging to my death or roller coasters of any shape or form) and got a pretty bad sunburn on my sholders.
Got home and went to the USF Football game. We totally won, like stomped FAMU into the dirt!!!! 37-0. I'm not sure if USF has EVER shut anyone out, especially in the big east. FAMU brought their band, and totally beat the crap out of the Herd of Thunder. As much as I like the HOT show this year, the fact that it's Pink Floyd and all (Including The Wall, Part II "Another Brick in the Wall" and Money) you couldn't hear them at all and their form is seriously lacking this year. FAMU's musical ability honestly sucks, and their music choice is horrible (i really dislike R&B and Rap) but their form and just entertainment value far exceeded USF's.
Sunday was good, woke up late, did some sewing and then spent the evening with Kyle and Bekah. Gave Bekah her birthday present, went to Red Lobster, then the Todd for much fun and looking for the Lexcalibur to laugh at, then to wally world on Dale mabry that sux, then to Tampa Lanes for some good cheap DDR. They have a DDR Extreem machine for 50cents!!! w00t! Played lots of DDR!!!
Going to try and sleep now, not sure how well that will turn out...grumble...
oh and even though she doesn't check it very often....HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEKAH!!!!!!

Date: 2005-09-13 03:15 am (UTC)Went there today, would have had to wait an hour just to see a nurse, and then fought with them to see an MD, then waited a week for a referal for an x-ray.
I qualify for medicade, so it's not costing me very much at all, luckily!!!

Date: 2005-09-13 03:21 am (UTC)This was the game machine, and it was 50cents for 3 songs. Which is awesome cus it's usually $1. As for finding the games for PS, I'd check ebay, that's where we got our pads and our game.
