HERPS!!!!!
Oct. 1st, 2005 02:39 pmJust got back from the reptile show at the fair grounds. This is what I came home with:
1 2 yr old Male normal cornsnake, het albino (means one of his parents was albino, therefore he has the genes)
1 Young Female albino cornsnake, with hypo bloodred in her background.
These two are going to make beautiful babbies, I can't wait!
2 Gold Dust Day Geckos 1 male 1 female, both adults and breeding age. The male has more blue in him, and she is more of a bright green. The will be breeding soon hopefully. I have them in a plastic terrarium currently, but I will be moving them into an exoterra soon, since it's taller. I've seen the female eat allready today, so I'm happy! They are both gorgeous, but both lost their tails at some point, so they look a little funny grown back like that. They will also have very cute babies!
I also got all of the stuff for them and a bunch of free gifts for buying VIP tickets!
I also have to get my 10 gal from my mom's house for the snakes, since the male is quite a bit bigger than I first thought.
OH, and there was a group of Japanese students there who were filming for Japanese Television ( i think the camera said TV Asahi or Ashai or something like that on it) I told the girl that I was going to be going to Osaka next year for school and that I was currently in Japanese and they interviewed me about my two snakes (I didn't have the geckos yet) and they were really nice. She asked me if I knew any japanese when I told her I was going to Kansai Gaidai and I told her just basic so far. It was really cool!
Going to my cousin's birthday party now, goint to have to drive in the pouring rain....grumble....
