Well, looks like our homecoming game is going to be either postponed or moved up. If this tracks even a little north, it could come right up Tampa Bay. Yay. I'm so happy... (insert sarcastic voice here). Luckily it will only be bout a 2 when it hits land, and if it does go in where it's projected now, which never happens, we'll get the west side of it, which isn't as bad. Either way, I have a feeling I'll be sitting in the dark in my apartment on saturday.

Yea, but every model is pushing it at florida. And there is a large high pressure system hovering just above the panhandle that will keep it away from the other gulf states.

Either way, we'll be getting some nasty rain this weekend.

Thing is the other model (via weather.com) doesn't have it hitting the state until Sunday.

interesting. I tend to trust NOAA most of the time for this kind of stuff though. Who knows though, still going to stock some stuff in a rubbermaid and get some more flashlights just in case.
