No one mourns the WICKED...
Jan. 18th, 2006 02:34 pmSo, I am ticketless for Wicked... thanks to my Stepmother who told me she'd take me for christmas (which at the time I didn't have money to buy the tickets) so I never bought them. She just told me a few days ago that she couldn't afford them. Great..................
So tonight and probably every night until I can get tickets, I will be sitting in front of TPAC with my name in a lottery to buy $25 orchestra seats.
Good thing I work pretty close to TPAC.

Date: 2006-01-18 08:35 pm (UTC)The drawing is 2 hours before each show, so at 5:30 tonight. You get the chance to buy up to 2 orchestra seats for $25 a pop. I'm going immediately after work tonight. I just called down to the box office again and they said as of now, no one is there. Which means it must not have gotten out very much and I was just lucky to find it in the paper.

Date: 2006-01-19 03:05 am (UTC)The only seats left were the boxes that are limited view anyway but STILL full price at 57, which I couldn't afford.
I'm going to try again sunday.
BJ mentioned something about it coming back in late february or something so I'll check that too.
As for it being sold out, it is, but the orchestra seats are usually held, but sometimes they are released to the public like this.
