Feeling a BIT better
Jan. 31st, 2006 10:36 amWell, I'm back to work today. Relaxing in my own bed yesterday helped tremendiously. The fact that that room we were in was full of mold and smelled like smoke on top of the fact that the mattresses were like plywood, didn't help me to feel better at all. When I have a fever I tend to curl up into a ball instead of sleeping on my tummy like I normally do, BUT when sleeping on plywood-like bed, that equals much pain in the hips...owwwwwwwwwww. I'm so sore, I feel all out of wack.
I'm writing a very nasty letter to Howard Johnson, that place was quite possibly one of the most disgusting hotel's I've ever been in, and they still charged us $40 a night! I wouldn't have paid $5 to stay there. Oh and lets not forget the "ammenities" fee they charged us when we got there, an extra $5 over all, yet the mini-fridge didn't work, the lamps by the bed didn't work at ALL, and the tub was more than disgusting, oh and you could hear (and FEEL) the floor boards when you walked. I was afraid we were going to go through the floor the entire weekend. Oh and the tile cracked in the bathroom when you walked on it. Ugh...
I have a doctors appointment tomorrow for a full phsyical (it's been over a year) and I'm going to talk to him about the palpitations, the joint pain, and now this fever with kidney pain (which last time was a kidney infection). I'm so sick of being in pain like this...
