So yea, spent Wednesday night - Thursday morning (bout 6 am) in the UCH ER. Bj had taken me when I was laying on the couch screaming and crying in pain from this damn kidney infection. They checked me out, found out that while I didn't have a stone, my right kidney was swollen and had fluid buildup around it. They pumped me full of fluids and antibiotics and sent me on my way.
Do you know why it got that bad???
Because my insurance charged me a $50 copay for Levaquin, one of the only drugs that will get rid of a kidney infection. And guess what, I can't afford it yet! They gave me a new prescription, which was also $50.... So does Andrea get her antibiotics? No. I'm going to call United Health Care today and find out why it was so expensive. I'm trying to scrape the money together for it, and I really don't want to ask my mom. I don't get paid again until the 15th, and then my tax refund (which will help me out immensely) comes in on the 17th. But that still won't help me.
I'm so sick of this...
