gimmick_gameSo I pulled out my guitar last night and polished her up really good. I just restrung it a few months ago, but I still don't have string clippers so it doesn't look so great right now >_<.
I've decided that I really need to hanker down and finish learning how to play guitar. I'm hoping to get enough money for my birthday from my parents and family to purchase an electric guitar. It of course has to be pink, lol. I've been listening to ZONE a lot lately and it's really inspiring me to play again, but I need to finish learning on my accoustic first, since I know it is the harder of the two to play, and I need to build up my finger strenght. There are some basic chords I just can't reach right now or get just because of my finger strength. I was working on playing "Akashi" last night, but the chords I have for it are in Em, and the song is in Em7, which is harder. But it just doesn't sound right, so I'm going to try to find the propper chords or have my cousin transcribe it for me. I might also take some lessons from him cus he is the guitar guru of the family. I can feel it in my fingers that I played a lot last night, and I hope my caluses come back soon! I even chopped off my fingernails last night that were growing so good in sake of my guitar. Oh wellm they were breaking and tearing anyway, like they always do when they start to grow.
Lily, we might not be able to pick up the entertainment center this weekend due to the fact that we have to pick up the puppy between 3-5 on sunday, or I have to pick him up monday and it costs a lot extra that way. I can come over next weekend and get it though if we can't, since BJ didn't take the toolbox out of his truck like he was supposed to either.
*EDIT*- Looked at the TAB again and saw it was Ebm, which makes more sense.... *dunce*
