Mega Con report

gimmick_gameSince I already did a Saturday report, I'll just update ya'll on how Sunday went!
Got there in Reiji/Rage, but couldn't find either Lyn nor Amanda *sad panda*. So we decided to hit the dealer room. Here's my haul (including what I got on Saturday):
- Wedding Asuka figure
- Larger Kon plushie (only $10, and most places wanted $10-$15 for the Kon in the dress... so I didn't get that one too)
- Shirt that has the Dark Side of the Moon logo on it (Pink Floyd) but with Darth Vader's mask as the triangle and a red lightsaber instead of the prisim, and it said "The Darth Side of the Moon" WHEEE!!!
- (at wal-mart) A shirt that says: "You Can't Fix Stupid"
- 2 Gravitation shirts, one with Yuki and Shuichi, one with Nittle Grasper, both a shade of blue.
- Bleach Wallscroll.
- Sephiroth wallscroll (for B)
- 2 car decals, 1 NERV, 1 Rukia's symbol (from Bleach)
- 3 Buttons- one with Asuka, one pink Button +3 (WHEEE), and 1 little Tri-Force.
- FMP Manga 3-8 (wheee!!!!!)
We were going to stay for the D'espairs Ray concert, but by the time we got through the dealer's room, the line was through the con center, and the advanced tickets had already stopped selling. We figured it was better anyway, cus we still had to pick up the dog that afternoon, and that way we were able to go get a decent lunch at Friendly's (omg..yum)
On Sat night we went to Bennigan's with Ken, Lilly, Kristian, and (oh crap I can't remember his name...*smacks hand*). Kristian had the quote of the con: "I'm not caucasian, I'm queer!" <3
Oh, and Lilly introduced me to George Lowe.... OMG SO FUNNY!!!! After she left the dealer's room he proceeded to get on the mic and in his best Space Ghost voice say that he could play the Jeopardy Theme on his hands...which he did, very well, and the ENTIRE dealer's room busted out in laughter.
Overall, it was a good experience, and I got to see a lot of people I don't get to very often, and I found a lot of good deals in the dealer's room (and was quite proud of my restraint, even knowing how much I had to spend, I was very good at pricing things, and wouldn't just buy it cus it was cool, like I've done at previous cons. I'm getting better!)
I'm really getting excited for JACON now. And guess what... Hell hath frozen over.... BJ WANT'S TO NOT ONLY COSPLAY....BUT TO LEARN TO SEW!!!!!!!!! OMG....*dies* I told him I'd make Sephiroth for him, and he goes "Actually, I'd like to work on a lot of it too, if that's okay." I was like O.O............................................. WHEEE!!!
